I've never understood why these fish are so expensive, the looks are not that spectacular in my opinion. What do you guys think?

Same deal as BD. Not many people have them. And they are pretty special looking.

And the exporters know that. So they know they can charge alot of cash for them.

I like them though, alot!

in the 90's they where everywhere, for a very cheap price. when they where not available anymore thats when the price went up and then when they became available again just like rays.

for me they are beautiful and the reason i got into pleco's 14 years ago
